PAYMENT

All prices are in Pound Sterling. All goods purchased via our website must be paid for at the time of order by credit or debit card [Visa, MasterCard, Visa Electron, Visa Debit, Switch and Solo].

Payments can also be made over the telephone or on delivery by cash or cheque [with guarantee card only].

ORDER ACCEPTANCE

When you have placed an order, you will be issued with an Order Reference Number and details of the products you have ordered. We suggest you print this page and retain a copy for future reference.

We will also send a copy of these details to the email address given during the order process (first email), please note that this email is an acknowledgement of and not an acceptance of your order.

All orders placed by you are subject to acceptance by us. Acceptance will occur when your order has been processed and despatched. Alternatively, we may decline all or part of your order for any reason, in which case we will send you a second email to tell you so.

CANCELLING AN ORDER

You may cancel your order by telephone only within 24 hours of placing your order. Please quote the order number from your order acknowledgement. In the event of cancellation in accordance with these terms a full refund will be made.

RETURNING AN ORDER

If you decide you no longer wish to purchase the goods after they have been delivered we must be notified within two days following the receipt of your order. Goods must be returned, unopened, to The Great Northern Deli before we offer you a refund.

All return of carriage costs will be payable by the customer. The right to return does not apply to goods that are personalised or perishable.

COMPLAINTS

We trust that you will always receive an excellent service. However, in the event that you have a complaint about any aspects of our service or products please contact us on 0161 776 4636.

STOCK AVAILABILITY

The images and descriptions of our products are represented to the best of our ability. However, we cannot guarantee that our delivered products will be identical to their portrayal on the website.

All sizes of fresh produce items [ie meat cuts and vegetables] are approximate to within 10%.

We regularly update and develop our stock selection and some items may become unavailable. Equally, this may occur because of the seasonality aspect of some of our products. If an item on your order is out of stock we will inform you of that fact and advise you ofthe next expected delivery date, an alternative product, or offer a refund if payment has already been made.

• We will never pass your personal data to a third party.

• We will never sell our mailing list. You will receive no junk mail as a result of registering with us.

The security of your credit card details are highly important to us which is why we only accept payment through a secure payment service provider. Our payment card services are managed by Protx and we use a HSBC Merchant account, two of the UK's number one online payment card processing facilities. Our integration with Protx provides the most secure, state of the art internet payment facility available in the UK.

Protx's highest priority is also to keep sensitive information safe and private while making the online shopping experience as simple as possible. They have a number of measures in place to ensure security. Credit/debit card details are secured within 128-bit encrypted sessions. We never store our customers’ card details on our website, therefore should anyone gain unauthorised access, the information they obtain will not allow them to recover credit card details.
